For my project, I’m doing a speech on takeaway food. I need to know what they put in your burgers. I need answers, preferably from Australia, because this would be more accurate, but if anyone knows what they put in Australian food, and please be truthful, because wrong answer means bad project. So pleaaaasssssseeeeeeee be truthful. Thanks.

Aussie burgers are different than US burgers ( beetroot – yikes!). Here’s a recipe to gibe you some insight:
    Ingredients:
120 grams minced meat patty (4 ounces ground hamburger)
    1 egg
    2 bacon rashers
    1 slice cheese
    1 large slice onion
    1 large slice tomato
    1 large slice beetroot (beets)
    1 pineapple ring
    1 hamburger roll
    lettuce
    margarine
    tomato sauce (ketchup)
    Method:
Fry the meat patty, the bacon rashers and the onion. Flip the meat patty over and add cheese on top. Fry the egg. Cut the hamburger roll in half and butter both halves. Toast both bun halves on the grill. Add tomato sauce to taste. Assemble the hamburger: lettuce, tomato, beetroot, pineapple and the meat patty. Top with onion, bacon, egg and the bun top.
Don’t forget to make some chips to go with your hamburger.

Not sure about Aussie fast food, but I heard a rumor that they use the leftover meat from a cow’s face to make McDonald’s hamburgers here in the US.
