They want to change the shape of the hot dog?

Author: Admin  //  Category: Hot Dog

It was all over the news today about how some group thinks the shape of the hot dog should be changed. People have known that hot dogs posses a choking risk for a long time(it was a big deal in the 70′s when idiot college kids were choking during hot dog eating contests) so why change now? Don’t you think its the responsibility of the parent to either cut their young children’s food up or not give them certain things? Why do the rest of us have to suffer?

I agree with you. It is the parent’s responsibility. Or, even if they do change it, they should keep the old shape too and make differently shaped ones as an alternative, not a replacement. They shouldn’t change them all just for children…it’s not like hot dogs are a necessary food for children. Why not just stop giving them to kids?

I don’t think they will change the shape of the hot dog. If people are worried their child will choke on them, don’t give them to your child. Or, cut them up in very small pieces. How lazy have parents gotten?? This really is another example of how parents don’t want to parent.

I think this is another shining example of how the world it collectively getting stupider.

It’s the responsibility of the parent to ensure the safety of their children, not the rest of the world.

I seem to remember an entire generation growing up in a world where lawn darts were legal, trampoline nets were unheard of and a helmet wasn’t required for everything. This trent of trying to child-proof the entire world has got to come to an end.
